Scholarship Application Eligibility
We welcome you to apply for scholarship if you have;
completed your application for studies at Unviersityadmissions.se before 1 February 2016.
Umeå University programme as priority 1
A committe appointed by the Vice-Chancellor is tasked with selecting candidates for scholarships.
The selections are based entirely on applicants academic merit.
Selected candidates receive a full or partial waiver of the tuition fee.

Umeå University Scholarship
This is a general scholarship programme offered by Umeå University. Open for students admitted to one of the Master’s study programmes offered.
4-6 Scholarships available for academic year 2016-17.
Erling-Persson Scholarship
For talented students admitted to Master’s in Public Health study programmes at Umeå University.
14-16 Scholarships available for academic year 2016-17.
Umeå School of Business and Economics (USBE) Scholarship
For talented students who are admitted to one of the 6 Master’s level programmes offered by the Umeå School of Business and Economics.
2 Scholarships for academic year 2016-17.
Umeå Institute of Design (UID) Scholarship
For talented students who are admitted to UID study programmes
4-6 Scholarships available for academic year 2016-17.
Scholarships offered by the Swedish Institute
The Swedish Institute, a government agency, administers scholarship programmes each year that cover tuition, as well as living costs, for selected non-EU/EEA students.
