Applications are invited from Public qualified an individual to fill the following vacant position in Packaging Department at Dar Plant.
Job Title: Maintenance Controller
Reports to: Packaging Engineer
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To co-ordinate, coach and control the activities of the level one maintenance teams in the production environment and to provide specialist technical advice to ensure maximum equipment availability.
ACTIVITIES/OUTPUTS
· Assist with development of maintenance plan.
· Execute maintenance activities.
· Conduct planned job observations.
· Manage issues emanating from system usage reports
· Ensure asset care business process are adhered to
· Implement safety, health & environmental legislation and procedures.
· Ensure that artisans execute maintenance plan to standard and optimise artisan time utilisation
· Support continuous improvement.
· Identify problems or potential problems
· Ensure that all team members are fully conversant with the manufacturing way and Global Evaluation of Manufacturing (GEM).
· To develop and drive implementation plans to progress maturity in the manufacturing way principles and practices.
KEY RESULT AREA
· Completed FFA’s
· Coaching Effectiveness evaluation
THE PERSON
Education: Min – Bsc. Engineering (Mechanical)
At least 3 years working experience preferably in manufacturing Industries
Any course in Managerial roles.
Ability to work for long hours and under stressful situations
