Role Description:
Achelis is looking to hire an Assistant Mechanic on site in Mbeya to work on a full time basis reporting to
the Technical Manager. This incumbent will come with at least 2 years of relevant experience working in
the technical support, electro-mechanical repair jobs and after sales service.
The key to this position is to ensure efficient and timely after sales service and maintenance. Also to
ensure that relations with both clients and suppliers are up held on a technical aspect. The role includes
the following tasks:
- Technical support and repair jobs as well as after sales follow-up and discussions
- Follow up on jobs done and ensure customer satisfaction
- Prepare spare parts sheets and requirements
- Visit and attain new clients and assignments
- Follow up and support of technical head targets
Fast facts and requirements:
1. An advanced diploma or degree in mechanical or electrical engineering from a recognized
Institution
2. Strong technical skills preferably in the electro-mechanical field
3. Proven track record of professional integrity is essential
4. Good interpersonal skills and communication skills
5. Proactive and disciplined approach to work assignments
6. Ability to work under pressure and obtain results
7. Flexibility to work in Mbeya, preferably incumbent to be based in Mbeya at present
