An established and growing Publishing Company wishes to employ competent individuals to fill vacant positions as editors, marketing and sales officers, accountant, secretary and driver.

Basic Qualifications
Holders of a good university degree in the relevant subjects
A masters degree would be an added advantage
Teaching experience in the relevant subjects of at least 5 years
Fluency in both spoken and written Kiswahili and English
Proven evidence of interest in the field of publishing and books
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Solicit required manuscripts from potential authors
Evaluate manuscripts and comment on their suitability for publication
Prepare summary plans for books to be published
Edit manuscripts and prepare them for publication
Participate effectively in Editorial
Board Meetings
Make effective impact in the publishing tasks of the company
Be a good team player in an active growing publishing company
